The Osmonds not only gave us amazing music that was always clean and uplifting but they gave us excellent examples of living lives dedicated to God . They lived with trials and challenges far beyond what most of us face. Who among us could wake up one morning and find that all of the $80, million that they worked so hard to earn was suddenly stolen from them. Yet they decided as a family to sell all their possessions and pay off their debts. Then they went back to work. They never forgot the teachings of Jesus Christ. They never left their religion to follow the world. I think they have given us a lesson in integrity and faith. Thanks Osmonds!!!

I always loved the Osmonds, especially Donny. His posters were all over my room. But they didn't keep up with the times. I don't know who wrote their music in the mid-to-late 70s, but it never really connected with the public. It always sounded old and dated. They needed to head down to Muscle Shoals and have them help them with their music, and funk it up a bit.

I still hear them referred to as the white Jackson5. Their dancing was so much better than the Jackson’s. Donny wasn’t lead singer either Merrill was. I think that label really hurt their career.

I met donny in st pete back when he was married and had his first son. Marie too. She had twisted her ankle during the last song and Jay was with her when the paramedics came to look at her. They all were there and had a concert. I know donny was tired because i knew where they were coming out to leave and when i saw him he was not happy made a face and said ughhhhhhh but he changed his tune when so many people came up behind me to get his autograph. I always question if he was ever really happy performing.
